Im big collector of New Romantic, but from 80's!
Today New Romantic is something like electro clash, electro pop or pop electronic.
Maybe:
1)Royksopp - Triumphant (2005)
2)Indochine - Pink Water 3 Avec Brian Molko (2006)
3)Van She (2006)
4)De/Vision - My Own Worst Enemy (2005)
5)Nena - Willst Du Mit Mir Gehn

I'll second the electroclash connection. While not really New Romantic in the 80's sense it seems that bands like Hong Kong Counterfeit and Der Perlen are keeping the samea sense of fun going.

Actually, I don't see The Bravery as a new-ro band.
The closest band to new-ro that I can think of is The Arcade Fire.... I get the new-ro vibe all over when I see their videos.

You're right. According to NME- [i]BRANDON FLOWERS has branded The Bravery as imitators of his band The Killers.[/i]

He sounds more smug and upset about it than flattered.

And while I don't think The Bravery are a New Ro band, I hear much more of that influence in their sound than Arcade Fire. Arcade Fire is nowhere bear as dark and brooding.

Yes, Faith Assembly is one of the few bands that you can definitely say is Modern New Romantic. I really don't think there's any other MNR visible bands.

Maybe Scissor Sisters. New Romantic movement was a brief flash of music and fashion that may never truly return. Like Bobby socks and poodle skirts it is tied to a certain era and when anyone tries to emulate it they are often seen as mocking or copying. Prince was one of the last holdouts of the new romantic thing, he carried the style into the early 90's.
