Yeah, I like SLF alot Dave. I only had one or two songs by them for years and then I grabbed a couple of their albums off our Hub, and I haven't heard a song yet that I don't like. The more I listen, they better they sound.

I like your comparison to the Clash. Never thought of it that way.

I picked up the "Go For It" album back in the day - as much for their punk look as anything - and was hooked. In addition to Tin Soldier, my favorites include Barbed Wire Love, Alternative Ulster, Roots Radicals, Go For It, and Suspect Device. Anyone interested should check out their Greatest Hits Live... and they still put on a hell of a show. Jake Burns can still belt out the tunes and former Jam member Bruce Foxton is now playing bass for them.

BTW The "Irish Clash" label is from AMG, but it really seems to fit.
