Hi there,
Found this song on an old tape of my radio show. Unfortunately the tape ends before I do a back-announce break telling what we heard.
I tended to pull out a lot of obscure vinyl from late 70's/early 80's. This band sounds American with a maybe touch of phony English accent. The rhythm track is a bit complex and syncopated. A very catchy chorus goes: "Naaa na na na na naaa na na na don't touch me, please just go away." [Literally, they sing the word "na."] The vocal harmonies remind me of earlyish Monochrome Set...any ideas out there?
