Making a halloween costume

So I haven't gone out for halloween, dressed up in what seems like ages. I was thinking of making something cheap. Me, with my bald, big head & no hair, I go was Lincoln Burroughs from Prison Break.

But how would I do it? looking at various Prison Break pics, none of their uniforms at Fox River look distinctive enough. I was thinking of just getting any 'ol prisoner-like uniform(solid color), putting "FOX RIVER ____" on the back, and L. BURROUGHS on the front breast.

But how would I do said quick labelling? Spraypaint? I'm at a loss here.

And what would look good for the back side? FOX RIVER, should it be fox river...penitientary? Or would there be a better word?

Some people make great costumes! And every year there is always The Village parade! Why doesn't anyone film it? I would buy a dvd.
