Hello Folks:
Long time lurker and first time poster here. I've really enjoyed reading y'all's posts. It makes me realize that the music I love has not died, and that listening to classic alternative music doesn't make one (too) weird. Hopefully I'm not violating any newbie rules by posting a new topic:
What albums or cassettes have you listened too so much you literally wore them out and you had to replace them?
Me?
INXS-The Swing (3 copies before the CD)
Lloyd Cole and the Commotions-Rattlesnakes (Ditto)
ABC-The Lexicon of Love (Just got the new remastered two disc set on The Ideal Copy)
A Flock of Seagulls-Listen (Wore out two cassettes with the extra tracks)
Shriekback--Oil and Gold
Scritti Politti--Cupid and Psyche '85 (Wore out the cassette with the extra tracks)
REM- Murmur
The Bats-Daddy's Highway
Smiths-Hatful of Hollow
Violent Femmes--Epon.
Pseudo Echo--Epon. (or Autumnal Park)
and several more...
