Arthur Baker & Princess Superstar

Seminal DJ and producer Arthur Baker did the track Return to New York with Princess Superstar in 2003. The track honors the glory days of New York clubbing during the early to mid-eighties when electro was abound, a sound he was a crucial architect of.

Baker's signature style also lends a hand on Princess Superstar's fifth and latest studio album, My Machine (2005). Lauded as the future of hip-hop and [b]new wave[/b], the album takes Baker a little above the radar he's been working under for so many years.
