Squeezebox

Ahh, probably not what you're thinking...

I just picked up a digital audio receiver called "Squeezebox" from Slim Devices. This thing is great (and they get kudos for naming their product after, well, a song and...).

It wirelessly streams all the music from my PC to my living room stereo on the other side of the house, as well as internet radio. The sound quality is terrific and the menu response time is far superior to anything on my PC. The software is open-source and the community is vibrant, so there are a lot of plug-ins, etc. For example, there's a plug-in that enables you to listen to Sirius (if you're registered for their internet stream).

Very cool product. Anyone using anything like this?
