Not sure If I am a fan yet, but I just stumbled across a copy of the re-issue cd that Collector's Choice put out a few years ago. Pretty entertaning band history in the liner notes.

For some reason I thought they would be a punk band, but they sound more power pop/new wave...and that's not a bad thing!

I like their album a lot (especially "You Got It (Release It)"), but all in all I prefer Pearl Harbour's solo albums. "Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost Too" is a classic. Her second album, "Pearls Galore," is also great, although not a lot of people know about it. There are still some tracks I've never heard by her on the Japanese edition of that album. I'm always on the hunt for them.

Her 1995 album "Here Comes Trouble" is rougher/more punk, but also really great.

I don't see this listed on amazon.com
Do you know where I might buy it on the internet?

You learn something new every day, thanks guys!

I had no idea they released a second album and she had a solo career. I am now on a hunt to find these recordings. Also, the first self-titled album was released on CD? How is the sound quality?

Thank you

The sound quality on the CD reissue is very good.

As far as I know, there was only that one Pearl Harbour and the Explosions album. Plus the three Pearl solo albums.

"Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost Too" isn't available on CD, just as a download (you can get it on itunes).
