As I was putting up another post that involved The Housemartins I remembered that bassist Norman Cook reinvented himself...as none other than Fat Boy Slim...and then Henry Rollins popped into my mind, he's been reinventing himself nonstop for years...and I wondered, who else?
So who else?

There are many artists who have matured, adapted and changed over the years, but have remained true to their original ideals......

good question...I think what I was after was people that have or are doing things that are just so totally different then when they first set out. Things if somebody said to you back then they'd do you'd say 'no shot'...U2 has reinvented themselves by goi

one of the finest re-invention that i might include will be New Order,rising from the post-punk ashes of Joy Division,they re-invented their sound with lavish & pure,honest music that still beat in everyone's heart's.A lot of bands should be thankful that
