So effective this morning, 92.3 K-Rock, the "alternative" station in NY, is now "K-Rock is Great Rock, Period.". I guess my definition of "great rock" is the antithesis of theirs. WLIR, why'd you have to go and leave us? [:(]

Wow, I'd forgotten about that, 2Nu. Sad how that never materialized into more than a token few songs during the occasional flashback weekend like 2 times in the last year.

Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name" really ROCKS! [xx(] Thanks K-Rock for mak

I'm still enjoying the LIR out of Long Island - comes in great along the CT coast. Can city folk pick up this station?

Okay, "enjoying" is an overstatement - but I'm comparing it to the CT-all-classic-rock-all-the-freakin-time. They play the occasional

Not to toot our own horn but check out 89.1 WFDU Saturday nights from 6pm to 6am...non-stop Modern Rock. We're way more into playing New Wave than 107.1....plus 60's Garage, 70's Punk, 90's Alternative and today's "New" New Wave.
