Oh no! I've been sitting here thinking and thinking and thinking and thinking, and I cannot figure out to what your comment refers. Do you mean my MIx CD ? I mailed it to you on 4/4 OR 4/11. The others have already received theirs. What or who is APB? Help! I am confused![:0]

Just a quick update..

Devildog--got your replacement cd--thanks--have not listened yet so I'm hoping its the correct one!![:D]

Buffalo Chipz--also got your latest batch--at the very slow rate Im going at , I'll get to them in a few months.--just kidding-but I am behind on my "listening duties".

Blir--also have your Indie hits cd-again-have not had a chance to listen yet.

Egg Roger--Your latest batch is what I have in the player now. Hve not gotten to Super Chicken yet , but Moe and your other ,as I call it , enigma cd's are great. Have not heard O Positive in ages. Also really like the Passion Puppets and John St James. Who is he? New artist? Old artist? Ditto with Neon Philharmonic--who are they?
Super Chicken was next to be played , however, a package came in from Otter that had a cd I had to throw on first (local artist freak that I am)

Otter--Quahog Memories--gotta love it--I saw many of these guys live on more than one occasion and it was nice to hear them again. Nads. Neutral Nation, Mundanes , Blue Movie--ah the memories.

XTC--I have not forgotten your request--I'll get to it soon. I promise.

Hope I havn't left anyone out--if I did --yell loud!!

Don't know much about the music I like 'cept that I like it. Passion Puppets and John St. James are from Hardest Hits 1 compilation (good luck finding that one) so they are plenty old. Older still (1969) is Neon Philharmonic which, like much (most?) of the stuff on my disks, cannot be classified as New Wave. Glad you liked them. As I have stated previously, I LOVE your cd-r comps. Indeed, I have thouroghly LOVED all the disks I have received from all participants in this sonic adventure! I will post a more comprehensive review of this exchange experience when I get organized; I am currently being BLOWN AWAY by Borneojimy!

Marvy,

I just picked up a CD in my mailbox from you this AM. It's the 1980's Vol. 1 that you mailed to me previously. Did you mean to send that to me?

I can't remember if maybe the 1st one you sent had some flaws in it, perhaps?

Let me know. I'll return it to tomorrow, if it was a mistake. Thanks!

Angie,

In case this hasn't been resolved yet...I'm wondering if Med didn't mean Marie3 and not you. She's the one with that kick-ass APB CD.

I did. We straightened it out already. In fact, I have sent the lovely KYYX-forever a copy of that very APB disc that was at the center of the confusion.[8D]

Egg Roger--am I going to have to throw a few more discs you way???

Devildog--finally listened to agaist the grain--LOVE IT!! Been ages since I heard One Rule For You. New Math , Crown of Thorns (who I also heard from Schwenko) and Bone Symphony are my fav's!!

Otter--listening to Quohogs again--blasting MX's Underground Radio as I approach my favorite vinyl den--Lukes. (Underground Radio got a lot of college airplay in the day) Had decided to pick up their vinyl EP which I knew they had several of. Was in line with my copy--when I noticed the person in front of me had the same EP!!!! WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THAT???? A 20 year old ep from a local band being purchased by 2 people that have absolutly no connection to each other!! Said she used to be a groupie!!

Say what? I sent you the same disc twice? Definitely a mistake. I have nine people on my exchange list who should have recieved only one disc from me. My 1980's vol. 2 is currently in the works and the mass mailing will probably happen next week. Oh well, just keep it [:)]

That does mean that someone is short a Marvy Marv Compilation. Feel free to come forward and recieve what's rightfully yours. I am after all collecting from everyone else.....[8D]

Marv, why don't you just e-mail me the address when you find out who it is. I'll mail it to them. No sense me having 2 of the same CD. Thanks.
