I'm loaded right now so forgive me if this doesn't make any sense. It makes sense to me, but what do I know? I'm loaded.
Looked up the band names in ASCAP and BMI. Surprisingly they are in BMI. PRS (UK) affiliations of course -- except for an APRA (usually Australian) affiliation for an "Eric Stanley Jupp." There is no Alan Morrison listed. Either Alan didn't do any of the songwriting or they replaced guitarists. I don't have my singles handy right now so I can't check the songwriting credits printed on them although I'm sure one of you can.
Thanks to one of his non-Dekka Danse credits, I managed to find a page for Eric Jupp. Poor guy's dead. It confirms he moved from England to Australia. Based on his what his age would have been in 1984, I'm assuming he was Dekka Danse's producer. A 60-year-old guitarist? Yeah I don't think so. I'm sure you can find that on the vinyl as well.

Jon's full name is given as Jonathan Barrack Smith
Additional songs written by Grant/Innes/Jupp/Scott/Smith that are not on the "Waltz" album or non-LP B-sides are...
ONLY LIVE FOR PLEASURE (BMI Work #1128747) (this is not co-written by Jupp but by a Malcolm Conwill, who also co-wrote a tune called "Human Touch" with John Innes - see below)
LET THE DESERT BLOOM (BMI Work #860871)
THIS COULD LAST FOREVER (BMI Work #1499345)
TIME ON OUR SIDE (BMI Work #1516970)
Confusingly, John Innes' credits are linked to a George J. Newsome. Same guy? Name change? Fake name? Unless it's a bug in the system, it sure seems like it. Innes'/Newsome's additional credits, without the other members of Dekka Danse are...
AND LONELY (BMI Work #40020)
CITY WAYS (BMI Work #217230)
GOING DOWN THIS ROAD (BMI Work #487992)
HEY BABY EVERYTHING S GONNA BE (BMI Work #561247)
HUMAN TOUCH (BMI Work #597360) (Conwill and Innes, as noted)
KEY FOR EVERY OCCASION (BMI Work #799847) (penned by himself)
LOOKING FOR MY BABY (BMI Work #902763)
MALICE IN WONDERLAND (BMI Work #949502) (penned by himself)
MUM S THE WORD (BMI Work #1023211)
TWENTY PAST ONE (BMI Work #1560176)
TWENTY PAST TWO (BMI Work #1560177)
WEE BABY BLUES (BMI Work #1623326)
YOU VE BEEN DRINKING (BMI Work #1735891) - HOLY SHIT it's my autobiography!!!
Except as noted, these were all co-written with Colin F.R. Cooper, Peter John Haycock, Derek John Holt, Frederick Joseph Jones and Arthur Wood - who have 4 different affiliations among them (ASCAP, BMI, GEMA and PRS).
Wait a second, THAT'S THE CLIMAX BLUES BAND!!
Newsome, their early drummer, left in the early '70s. I find it hard to believe he'd go from that to Dekka Danse (and under a different name). But who knows. Does anyone? Is this a bug? Or is the same dude?
Finally, Jon Smith clearly was a part of some other UK band at some point after Dekka Danse.

YOUNGER EVERYDAY (BMI Work #2147009)
These songs were published by EMI Blackwood Music, but I can't make heads or tails of any of this. Who is this band? The BMI numbers probably can at least tell you the general year. I'll look into that.
So I checked the emimusicpub.com website, and confirmed these guys published these and a whole lot of other songs, none of which I can find any existence of otherwise. Despite the creative titles.

Okay, wait, so Phil McGee and Dale Moore were part of a Liverpool band called Scary Monsters. Who?
Wait, wait, hold up.... hold on. 1995 punk 7" record by a band called Clockwork Dogs - "Soapbox Junkie." So I guess that's the band. Clockwork Dogs. Well, who the fuck are they? Jonathan Barrack Smith, who the fuck is your other band?
I think we're halfway there. Google all the different names and I bet we can light this candle. From the looks of things, Dekka Danse was probably from somewhere in Northern England. Possibly Liverpool or Manchester.
