I know a couple folks on the board have read David Foster Wallace. Seems he found the need to hang himself last night.
His novel "Infinite Jest" is one of the best I've ever read (and the source of my login name here on the NWO) and his essay "A Supposedly Fun Thing I Never Want To Do Again" is truly hilarious.
I had the opportunity to meet him once at a reading. He seemed like a very decent guy.
