Hi,
I`m interested in buying a cd single from The Mission UK and it has a version of Tower of Strength with a mix called the East India Trans Cairo Mix? Is this version any good? Does anyone have a 20-30 sec sample clip so I can at least get an idea of what it sounds like, if not a verbal description would be fantastic.

I checked on discogs, and the mix you're talking about is not on original 1988 releases of the single, but on a 1994 CD single that seems to be remixes of several of their songs from that era. The East India Trans Cairo Mix is remixed by Youth, so it's most likely going to have either a deephouse or techno/industrial sound that was popular in that era because Youth was a club remixer who often remixed tracks from the 80s for a 90s dance floor.
The original 12" mix from 1988 was called the Bombay mix, which is available as an edit (still 7 minutes long, full length is over 11 minutes long) on the Anthology - The Phonogram Years.
