Madness - Adelaide, Australia

Saw Madness play in Adelaide South Australia last night.. they were SENSATIONAL. 1st time they have played in Adelaide for 23 years! great sound, upbeat, dancing, crowd interaction, humour... everything I had hoped.

Has anyone else seen Madness perform recently, and what were your thoughts?

Sure it would have been a great night, April 1st as well.

Their tour missed me completely, would have seen them in Melbourne if I had known about it earlier.

Only just caught Devo when they toured last Jul/August.

Was there a good growd, support act?

Yeah.. as always happens with the v-fest, because it doesn't come to Adelaide, many acts do side-shows over here.

Madness had Former Child Stars as support - they are a local band but I had never seen or even heard them before.. they were great. They were also involved with the v music festival.

The crowd were sensational (which can sometimes be a concern in Adelaide.. a lot of us tend to be a ltitle conservative, particularly older crowds) but not for this.. everyone got into it.. it was excellent. Being front row along the crowd barrier probably also helped in the case of my wife and I ;-)
