With my wide tastes in music I had a feeling the percentage was low. I did a little figuring and came up with less than 20% NW. It surprised even me! [:I]

The majority of my personal music collection is new wave, I'd say somewhere around 80%. However, I do have quite a bit of Classical Music, New Age, (Sam Cardon, Kurt Bestor, Liz Story, George Winston, etc.) and a bit of Celtic Music.

In addition, my

I'd say that 80's new wave/alternative makes up around 50-60% of my collection. However, I'm buying more new music now than I ever did

I'd say about 50-60%. The rest is a mix of indie, prog, punk, goth, ska, etc.

I'd say about 75%.

Like Mike, I've been collecting more music now than I did in the 90's. In the 90's, I spent a lot of time tracking down old New Wave on tape. The other part of my music current collection is overwhelmingly electronica, world/ethnic (

My collection goes something like this, or close to it anyway...

20% new (1990+) Indie Rock/Britpop/Indie Dance
