Medical Insurance questions

Postby InvisibleMan » Fri Nov 13, 2009 8:14 am

don't know if there are any New wave experts here in medical insurance and billing, but I have a question....a strange question maybe.

Does a contract with insurance company such as Medical Mutual go off provider's tax ID or off individual provider NPI's?
If our company/agency contracted with Medical Mutual under our tax id, would that automatically make all providers under our tax id In-Network with Medical Mutual, or can it be that only certain providers can be contracted and others not contracted under the same tax id number

does anyone know anything about this question?
