What Is The Highest Price You've Seen A NW CD Go 4

Postby Sean » Fri Apr 08, 2005 9:57 am

What is the highest price you've seen for any New Wave CD? I've seen the Vitamin Z "Rites of Passage" and Belouis Some "First CD" go for about $200 each. The most I ever paid for any item is $250 for the Visage Laserdisc.

The most I paid (for vinyl) was $12 for Peter Schilling's album "Error In The System". Usually I don't pay more than $4-$6 for a record.

A copy of Real Life's "Heartland" CD went for over $800 about two or three years ago on ebay. Soon after I heard about that I decided to put up my own copy of the CD on ebay and *only* got $202 for it. Funny how timing is everything. I've since replace

I sold a Japanese 2CD Duran Duran collection of EPs (4 12" singles I had on vinyl) on eBay. The winning bid was $145.50.

I paid $40-something bucks for the 4AD Lonely Is An Eyesore album, complete with 3-way folding sleeve and insert booklet with lyrics and artwork. Supposedly limited edition of 10,000.

Worth every friggin' penny!

I bought Belfegore's s/t for about $20, I think that was the highest I've ever paid for an album.

I paid $36 for a Clan of Xymox CD that is now no longer in print. Let me tell you, it was worth every red cent!

Also paid $40 for the import ABC "Lexicon of Love" Deluxe CD. This should have been released domestically. Now I actually think the $40 I

The most expensive new wave CD I ever saw sold was on eBay for "Happy Families" by Blancmange (price: $266, and I have also seen it go for as low as $40).
The second highest was for "Battle Hymns for Children Singing" by Haysi Fantayzee (price: $170, and
