These are just the New Wave ladies that I have/had huge crushes on. At some point you have to have a standard to cut the list off so that it is managable. Of course I am welcoming post such as yours as it may remind me of someone I forgot. Terri Nunn was remembered after someone pointed out her omission.

While I see your point about Kate Bush she never did it for me.

Based on the album sleeve for "Playback", I'd have to give my vote to Stacey Q of SSQ. Hot!!

I had a crush on Kirsty MacColl in the late 80's/early 90's.
Siobhan Fahey gets the Bananarama vote.

But the Early 80's New Wave Lady favorite goes to The Spoons' Sandy Horne.

Kim Wilde, man the cover of teases and dares she is fine. And Kate Bush, she is just stunning, and her talent and her personality add beauty light years beyond the obvious.

I, uh, was thinking about you when I voted for Terri Nunn. Yeah, that's it. Honest. No, really, I'm being sincere.[:p]

Am I getting the impression that we need a Ms., Mrs, Miss NWO? Heck even a Mr. NWO perhaps? Maybe a homecoming king/quuen of the NWO....this is more appealing as it brings back high school memories from a period when most of us were actually in high school? Perhaps we can have a then and now award? I mean many of us may not have aged well...while others may have improved? With this neew fangled poll technology this would be fun. Of course we need pictures! I think we can spare the bikini/speedo photos as a required category (but by all means encouraged![:p] unless I am the guy sending in the pictures [V].

p.s. now how can we work in a talent category????

Yeah, well I meant it as a blanket statement, of course. (I try to stay out of trouble with the ladies if at all possible. If that means occasional sucking up and brownie-hounding, so be it.)[;)]

I can do my "lightning bug aircraft carrier" trick. It's worth the bad breath to be king of something.[:o)]
