Does no one like Sharleen Spiteri of Texas? I need to know why not one person voted for her thus far. I spent my vote on Clare for obvious stalker like reasons...but I thought for sure someone would vote for dear sweet Sharleen....

I dunno why but I always wanted (late 70's/first half of the 80's)
Cindy Wilson of the B-52's. Deep bedroom eyes, overall just plain sexy and chic. Like she'd be fun to smoke a joint with and then have sex. Kate Peirson always looked like a goody-goody mom-like person to me.
She always came off on stage as much more of a poser than Cindy.

But the Early 80's New Wave Lady favorite goes to The Spoons' Sandy Horne.

She looks so sweet and innocent in the Nova Heart video!
She still looks purty good, 25 years later!

Kim Wilde all the way! Nothing compares to that pout [:D] I'd like to place Kate Bush at #2, but I wouldn't call her New Wave.

Go figure that I would end up writing my first post in this thread...

Welcome aboard Calanor! I think it's a pretty good thread to begin your posting career in! (although I encourge you to vote Debbie Harry all the way!)
