Why does this song have to be SO FREAKING COOL!?!?!?!?

I love this piece. It was one of the first songs I learned to play completely...form the 80s.

Im sorry for being all random and such. I just want to know why this song was SO FREAKING COOL!

Agreed. Probably Van Halen's most "new wave" song in their catalog. Always been my favorite and is the only 45 by Van Halen that I have![8D]

I always loved that tasty little guitar solo he does in that song. Unlike any other VH solo.

I've always been kind of embarrassed to admit I liked that song...the synthy sound, so glossy and fake, always did something to my knees. ha ha!

A while ago I found the sheet music for it...and I've known how to play it for a while now.
Of course this doesnt pick up chicks.
I think its an unwritten rule that GIRLS FEAR SYNTHESIZERS.
