Thanks, Synthesizerman! Great to hear this interview and relive some of the the sounds I loved in the 80s. The Three O'Clock we such an under appreciated band. For some reason, Mankey's involvement with Concrete Blonde escaped me til now. Saw them a few times, once at The Paladium opening for The Replacements I think.

Great surprise for the Great Earle!I wonder if he also rememebers his product works for the Elevators from Boston,X Spand X and Conditionz from L.A.His two mini lps are excellent in a weird way.

Thanks, DJCraig! I wasn't aware of his involvement with Concrete Blonde at first either (in the 80s) and I was working with him at the time.

I have the feeling that Earle remembers them all! I saw someone else mention his work with the Elevators. I wish I had more time but as it was I went 15 min over my slot. Fortunately the station is very liberal with me about my show length. I may very well have him on again in the next year or so.
