B-52s, Cosmic Thing gets my vote. I saw them perform most of the songs in concert around the time it was released and they were one of the most fun bands to see.

this was tough, because "welcome to wherever you are" and "very" and "automatic..." are big favorites.

but i went with "violator"- because i didn't know how depeche could top "music for the masses" and then they did, in a huge way. still sounds fresh,

This was tough based on two of the choices, "Violator" and "Dusk", both really excellent albums. I gave my vote to "Dusk" simply because I knew it would be the underdog. [:)]
