Hi all:

On a thread posted here: http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=33668

There was discussion of a 7" single mix that has been left off of many CD collections from Visage; however, it was found on a compilation CD from 1991. Here's the track for all to enjoy @ 320K:

Midge absolutely despised that remix (done by John Luongo) and left when it was commissioned. Now we can hear what all the fuss was about[:)]

Hi Xymox970! Can you control the dub mix link that doesn't run?
Thanks

Thank you Xymox970!
Maybe you have other 12" singles of Visage to share?

Well, I do still have the rest of the 1982-1984 singles + EPs
(Whispers, The Damned Dont Cry, Night Train, Pleasure Boys), but
most of these tracks & mixes have been around on various CD compilations in recent years, so I am not sure I am allowed to post them.

Thanks for the two mixes. Is this true about Midge leaving cause of the single mix of Night train? I've always liked it. Ridiculous

Midge has always stated that he left the group when Steve Strange insisted on riding a camel down Fifth Avenue. (I've read Midge's autobiography.) I've never heard this story about a remix, doubt it's true.

Funnily enough i've read Midge's autobiography too. About 18 months ago. 'If i was' i think it was called. He speaks about all the early groups a fair bit but i can't remember if he even mentions the reason behind the departure TBH
