Hey Neil,

It was cool of -1 to up a couple of the singles. This post was a really OLD one, 6 years!
At this point in time I'm not even sure what was all in there. Doubly confusing now, as
in 2010 the album Automatic was re-released with some "extra" tracks on it, as well.

I think if you have the CD single, the 7" & 12" singles, and the 2010 re-release that should be all
the material, aside from the They Say demo that was unreleased, and the razormaid remixes.

Good points. Of course i have the remaster of the album. And the unreleased track from somewhere. I did have all the CD singles and vinyl but they all got damaged

-1, Maybe some has to do with who owns the rights to certain material, or how much it'd cost to
get to use certain tracks, for a re-release? You' think, tho, that if a record company sourced a track from
vinyl they could at least clean it up, in an attempt to improve the sound quality. It's a mystery to me, as well.

Neil, With the 2010 release of Automatic I think with the extra tracks on it you could probably
piece together all the singles, at least the 12" ones. There may be a stray track, but none come
to mind, offhand. Well the 3 razormaid remixes.
I just found a really clean copy of Time To Die - 7" edit from the New Thing 7" single.
Not Sharpe/Numan, but it fills a little gap in the Strange Charm files collected.

There are pops and clicks and a skip in the 'no more lies(remix)'.

I have fixed these, and will upload that version to replace the other one.

No More Lies 12". I do some of that, myself. Audio restoration.
E for effort, but just so you know the same 12" version can be
had on the re-released 2010 Sharpe-Numan Automatic CD.
Sound quality of that CD is really good, better by far than the
original 1989 release. 12" mixes are on the 2010 CD, as bonuses.

yes, i saw that.

but at times, those tracks are just vinyl rips anyway,
and sometimes they are compressed on cd...

these tracks have a loudness war issue.. so the vinyl has better dynamics to me.

I can relate, -1. Vinyl has a certain "oomph" to it, can't deny.
My issue with records was the hiss pops etc, which now, thanks to
technology, can be mostly eliminated, so best of both worlds!
