Band Family Trees

Postby Scourge » Mon May 02, 2005 1:45 am

Hi, I'm new. But enough about that...

This topic could really help me out, because I'm fascinated by these things.

If you could, put together some family tree type connections between bands to show how interconnected some were with others.

For instance:

Neon/Naked Eyes/Tears For Fears

The Future/The Human League/Heaven 17

Dalek I Love You/OMD

The Buzzcocks/Magazine/Siouxsie & The Banshees/Visage/Ultravox blah blah blah

You get the picture. If you want to explain how they were connected, great! Otherwise I can look it up. This could lead me to search out some stuff I hadn't known about. Thanks!

How about...

Siouxsie Sioux/The Banshees/Hector Zazou/Morrissey and Siouxsie/Marc Almond/The Glove/Lydia Lunch/Annie Hogan/The Slits/The Creatures

Something like that? This needs to be in more of a flow chart format, since different players went dif

Back in the day, a guy by the name of Pete Frame became famous for his rock family trees. I still have a photocopy of the Ultravox/Visage/Numan tree from one of the old music mags.
