Anyone got this obscure mini album to share? Just listened to 'only time will tell' on Youtube, and seems like an underrated gem!

I'd also like to hear their full-length LP "Backs Against the Wall" if anyone has it. :)

poodle, that's a different Sharks band. The band releasing In A Black & White World was signed by Electra. The other Sharks band was with List Records ‎and has a totally different line up. Their Holiday EP is cool but I never heard Backs Against the Wall LP. I am just wondering if it was really that hard to come up with another name for the band? :D

I have that one also, on a sealed cassette. With a bit of persuasion I could digitize it perhaps :)

I ripped this 5 track mini album last night and from what I heard it sounded pretty good. I will post it tonight after work.

They have a website www.sharks2013.com which makes it evident that the band on Link records and the Elektra band are in fact the same band. It looks like they were on Elektra until 1990 which begs the question, why nothing was released after the mini album in 1986, which also appears to recycle some earlier tracks. Maybe they were being produced by Tom Scholz or something :)

From what I've heard they were really popular and there was a lot of hype around them, then the lead singer died of cancer.
