Sharing Is Caring

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

Sharing Is Caring

Postby telekon3 » Sat Aug 13, 2016 2:09 pm

In the past I’ve post comments/rants about people not saying “Thank You” that have fallen on deaf ears. This time around I thought I would just fulfill request and “Share” without moaning. (It didn’t last very long) In one of the earlier comments I stated “I have about 89% of the requests posted on this forum” I’m not bragging or anything like that, I’m just stating that to show that a comment of “Thank you” can go along way. I’ve posted rare or hard to get stuff in the past with little or no “Thanks” comments. Of course, I didn’t create or write the music but I’ve spent many thousands of dollars and over 30 something years collecting this stuff. It does take some of my time to upload the music. I love to share music with people but I was raised “old school” where it is “Common Curiosity” to say “Thanks” Please just take a minute while your downloading the files to post “thanks” Not just for me but for everyone.

This is what it is not:
Girl: Why were all you guys looking at me in the eating hall?
Guy: Its because we were talking about how this kid totally gave you the piledriver last weekend.

WTF?
