In the 90's, I used to get these CD-Rs from ????. It's been so long I barely remember. The series was called 'Digital 80's' from Gazebo Music. (No relation to the Italo-disco artist Gazebo) I don't remember where he was located, USA or Canada? Some were rare singles on vinyl not on cd (At that time) and I think some were his own remixes? I don't recall. (PM me Gazebo Music if you're still around) From 1995-1999, I meet several people on line who would make their own collections and remixes. (Remember alt. newgroups) Some of the people on this message board I have an early history with.(Hello!)

Here is a sample of the Digital 80's series.

Thanks indeed. There were two cool tunes in there I had not heard before. It'd be great if you could post more of them!

Thank you. Any change you can post some more tracks of the Digital 80's?

I created a series somewhere around 2005 called "The unknown beauty of the 80s". Most of those songs were from early NW Outpost downloads and downloads from the Torchomatic blog (I even received some cdr's with mp3 stuff) completed with tracks from my own collection.
I posted quite a number of those compilations on my blog (rissan.blogspot.nl), but that is also years ago. Last year I went through them again and spent about three months updating them to a respectable MP3 format.

I seem to remember a guy that was around on NWOutpost who created a series of great remix albums with rather dark images. I remember some having Guitar in the title.
Any change someone has them lying around somewhere. I had a harddrive crash some years ago and lost those beauties.

I was waiting to see if "Gazebo Music" resurfaced. I remember when I got the series from him, he asked me not to duplicate the CD-Rs and sell the copies. I was holding out a bit out of respect for him. I'll give it another week.

I still have all of that stuff from Torchomatic's music locker-box. Every so often I try to check in with him. It's been a couple of years. I have a folder with 682 Mp3 files I got from him.

I remember your blog. I still remember your story of when you got into photography.

"I seem to remember a guy that was around on NWOutpost who created a series of great remix albums with rather dark images. I remember some having Guitar in the title"

Anything else that you can remember about "a series of great remix albums with rather dark images. I remember some having Guitar in the title?" I have a folder of misc. New Wave Singles & Remixes I've been collecting from the beginning of time, almost, with about 5577 files in it.

Hi telekon3,

Sorry for the delay! Great to see there's still intrest in these timeless tracks! Great times, great memories and a great deal of work remastering them! You're more than welcome to share the digital 80s tracks. If I recall, I had compiled 30 volumes of the Digital 80s. The other series mentioned in this thread were by MSK Remember from Spain. Worthy of mention, I really enjoyed these great compilations by Danielwaver, Mike P and Torchomatic! All great! Hope this helps. All the best! Paul

I found some Rare 80's 12" mixes (more or less 99 mp3 files) from various artists (B-movie, Seona Dancing, Fiat lux, Fake, This Island Earth, Academy) some are a little bit cracking and pop (vinyl source) files. If anyone is interested let me know
