Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

Joey would have been 54 (!) today...I still get sad thinking I'm never gonna run into him at Continental or at Manitoba's...I'm glad though that Dick Manitoba still puts together the tribute shows...he was a good guy and a HUGE influence on American New Wave in the mid 70s...and with so many of my teen heros gone too, sometimes I feel really old...and I realize that with the way we used to live, any of us from back then should be happy to still be around...

At the recent Gang of Four show at Irving Plaza, they broadcast on their big screen their upcoming shows, and the Joey Ramone birthday party was one of them. Some things don't change! [:)]

Get out! I can't believe today would have been Joey Ramone's birthday. It's my sister's 40th birthday today. I wonder if she knew. She met the Ramones when they played SUNY Brockport in 1984. She said she half expected them to be jerks, but they were the
