Joy Division without a doubt.
As stark and unpolished as it was, their music hits a nerve with me.
New Order drifted into a sound that became predictable and monotonous. Not to mention some of the worst lyrics of all time.

That is too tough to call.
Its like 55% of me goes to Joy Division
and 55% of me goes to New Order...
So it'd take like %111 (1% extra to break the tie)
of my essence to answer that question.
