I would like to rip them to 320kbps mp3 - as I usually do with most of my music, but since these have a cue file they are automatically already separated by tracks, with is great, really, but when I play them on my MPC-HC software, it cannot go smoothy from one track to another without creating a nasty click at the end of each one.....so what I would basically like to do is to be able to rip this complete flac file as one. Perhaps someone can recommend some other piece of software for that purpose ?
Thanks.
OK, I use foobar2000 (foobar2000.org). You likely need a flac.exe file, which may already be on your machine, but if not, foobar2000.org has enough information on the site that you can install the add-ons you need to accomplish your goal. You'll also probably need some lame397.exe file, or something similarly-named. Again, the foobar site can give exact filenames / locations.
1) Drag the .cue file into foobar. You'll see all the tracks split up one by one.
2) Right click all the tracks, Convert -> ... which will take you to converter setup. I am converting to FLAC, so I will use the FLAC option. When I convert to MP3, I prefer MP3 (LAME) 320 kbps CBR.
3) Pick a directory where you want the files to be output, and they will be converted to 320 MP3.
Also, there is Unknown Artist / Title on these, so you may want to change the artist / title name before you convert them.
