I used to have a few pair of slouch boots - we called them bunch boots. Remember Zodiacs? I had a pair with fringe on the back and those cool buckles around the ankle. I felt like Ian Ashbury.

None of the above--it was all pointy thrift store pumps and pointy little flats (think ballet slippers with a wicked point). I worked in a shoe store during the mid-80s and still maintain an "archive."

Yes, the pointy flat! And OMG, the gladiator sandals, they were EVERYWHERE! I, too, got a few pairs of pointy pumps (vintage 1940's) at thrift stores, and I wore them with my vintage 1940's and 50's clothes. I'm kicking myself for giving it all away ye
