Calling All Gluttons for Punishment

Just a reminder that the 2nd installment of "Hit Me One More Time" will air on NBC tonight 6/9 at 9pm eastern/8pm central. Tommy Tutone, Vanilla Ice, and the Motels are among the artists willing to humiliate themselves for our gratification.

I just watched it. I'm very disappointed that Vanilla Ice won - - I actually thought the Knack were terrific. Well put together, looked great, sounded great...I was pleasantly surprised. My favorite of the night.

No doubt about it bpdp3, The Knack was clearly the best band there tonight. They not only sounded good but they chose a perfect song to cover. IMHO, The Motels and Tommy Tutone sounded subpar, and chose the wrong songs to cover. Haddaway never had a chanc

I was kind of disappointed that this week's show wasn't the absolute train wreck that last week's was. Actually the Knack and Motels weren't all that bad. Tommy Tutone was actually much better than I had expected both in the looks & talent dept.

Don't forget yet another enthralling episode of "Hit Me 1 More Time" is on NBC tonight. Greg Kihn is the only scheduled guest on that I'm interested in seeing. I planto be out tonight so I'll tape it & watch (or fast forward through most of it) tomorrow.

I predict Thelma Houston as the winner tonight.

I got some early spoiler info on next weeks show.

The performers so far:
Missing Persons - Juice Newton - the Fixx - Shannon

I can't pick a winner yet...
