Dug out all my old Bowie and bought his last CD as well!Gearing up for his concert on the 22'nd.Oh and am rediscovering Steve Hacket.

I do have a cd player, but i prefer vinyl records on my old pick-up player


The last record i played on it was 'Colossal Youth' by the Young Marble Giants


The last cd i played was 'Rough Trade shops - Post punk 01'

The only time I use CD anymore is to rip the songs to AIF for desktop connected to home stereo/entertainment system using Dolbly PLII Surround and rip again to 320kbps AAC for iPod and Powerbook use, after that I put the CD in storage. As to what new stuf

Anyone else listening to Death Cab for Cutie's "Transatlantacism"? Same guy who did the Postal Service release. Really a great album - - moody, Eno-esque piano, straight forward guitar rock, interesting electronics from time to time...this is really grow
