When you see a preview of (or an ad for) a new movie whose title is the same as a new wave song, you wonder if that same new wave song is the real opening song to the movie,

Actually 120 minutes did come first. JJ Jackson hosted it. PoMo Tv was a couple years later.

I am writing a screenplay called "Destination Unknown" and it is not only the opening song, but the late 90's remix is the closing song as well![:D]

I know who Richard Blade is - sort of - but we didn't get his show here. So, what is MV3?

MV3 was a show hosted by Richard Blade. I grew up in the Bay Area and his syndicated half hour show would come on right after school everyday during the week. It might have been called something else in other markets around the US or maybe it was the same. Every NW artist, especially British ones, was featured on this show and in additional to videos, Blade would also feature at least one interview per show. It lasted from the early 80's to about maybe 1987 or so, I don't remember exactly the life span of this show. It was on MV3 that I discovered bands like Depeche Mode, Culture Club, Altered Images, Blancmange and Berlin. Great memories from this show!
