Just turned 40 last July 12, 2005. And Frayo, to like New Wave is to be truly blessed. You've got taste. Too bad you couldn't live in the era, it was amazing. But, hey, you've got a lot of New Wave bands still kicking and on tour like Duran Duran, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Cure. Also you have got Nu New Wave bands like Killers and Interpol. Killers are particularly good. I would say that Elvis Costello really kicked it off in 1977, Blondie and The Cars followed and when the Brits came in, well, it was well under way. Rap and Hip Hop have destroyed any remnant of class and coolness in pop music. And Coldplay? More like Sleep Play.
