You're absolutely right MY Aural.

But, a bunch of paid model wannabes in the audience who know every word to every song, scream and yell like people who haven't eaten in a month and these old, overweight performers are a crate of ho-ho's. They then "v

I only caught the second half of the show. Strangely enough, the act that is last to perform has won every week. Last week's was a total joke, with Irene Cara's new group performing and her cohorts sang more than she did. Howard Jones was really good. Thi

Guys, if the other two acts are r&b, rap or hip hop, none of these artist will have any chance of winning:

Missing Persons, Juice Newton and the Fixx

I can't wait to see the Fixx. Hope they win but I highly doubt it.

Ok, I'll go out on a limb & predict The Fixx as winners. If the show is rigged - we've had 3 R&B winners & one "rap." Of those, 2 were female solo artists, and a hip hop group who won on the talents of their female members, and who can figure Vanilla Ic

Just watched it. I was pretty disappointed with Greg Kihn after hearing for years how great the guy was live. Glen's right about his voice being all but shot. Club Nouveau was never my thing to begin with, but I thought they did OK. There seems to be one

I saw The Greg Kihn Band in 1982 and they were a fun, energetic powerpop band. The band I saw last night (and I only saw teh Greg Kihn portion) was nothing like what I saw all those years ago. I didn't even recognize Kihn, he's put on about 80 pounds.

The official line up this week:
Animotion, Missing Persons, Juice Newton, Shannon and PM Dawn. Looks like the Fixx pulled out.

My prediction...Animotion and missing Persons cancel each other out. Shannon - not a chance. It's a race between PM Dawn

It's almost guaranteed, PM Dawn will win. They fit the description of all the previous winners.

I am glad/sad that The Fixx pulled out. I would've loved to see them, as Cy is a very talented singer, but yeah, they could do so much better than this show.

I agree that Missing Persons and Animotion might just cancel each other out.

Juice Newton?

I guess i should post this under Guilty (80's) pleasures, but I really like PM Dawn's "3 feet high and Rising" it was almost anti hip-hop, they even sampled Spandau Ballets "True" on their "set adrift on memory bliss" track. "Potholes in my yard" was a co
