Frankly, I don't know if it's officially summer yet, but it feels like it these days in Seattle, so I'm goin' with it. That means we've got plenty of long hot days to party with family, friends, food, alcoholic beverages, and most important - MUSIC. Which brings me to my question. [b]Who are your favorite party bands?[/b] The type of stuff you'd play if you were hosting the summertime barbeque at your place.

Here's one of a handful of CD mixes a made for my birthday BBQ some years back. Those in attendance were relatives as well as friends so I had to weave in top 40 tunes(that I could tolerate)for the older crowd with slightly more mainstream leanings:
