Other good sites/boards?

So we all know this is the place to be, but the internet large jungle (what else is out there). And I was thinking of not just NW music but broader types (as well as specific sub-genre) sites. I’ve heard mention of radio station sites (and others), scattered in various different threads. It’d be nice if that knowledge pool can be consolidated. (if this thread is redundant, please link me to the original)

“Uncle Hippy” a member there was quite a knowledgeable. He would recommend a weekly (forgotten) LP for listening. That is were I first heard mention of “Can”. And I found some of their music on the hub. Checking it out, it was a bit too progressive/experimental for me. (but at least now I know) And when MikeP posted the lyrics to a “LCD Soundsystem” song that seem to name check all their influents, there was “Can” first to be mentioned.

I would like to make it clear that here is the best. But I’ve been known to take knowledge learnt from various sources and bring it back.

Wow, I had forgotten about the record collectors guild. I signed up, noticed there wasn't much activity in the punk/new wave forum so I quit looking. Thanks for reminding me of it!

I've visted "Obscure Rock" a couple of times and downloaded some really good songs. It doesn't appear that they update it very often though.
