I never got into Wham.
In fact I didn't really like them. wasn't my style of music.
However, I DO like "Wham Rap" from before they got popular here. It was silly, but it was kind of unique and catchy. It sounded pretty different than other stuff you'd hear back in the day.

I saw Wham in concert in 85 at Hollywood Park.My girlfriend really wanted to see them. I was hoping that if I took her to the concert, I might get points later.[}:)] In the thread about best and worst concerts, I considered Wham. They were a close second.

Art Garfunkel has a great voice though! Just listen to Bridge Over Troubled Water...
Can't figure out what Ridgley did though! George Michael once said he was comic relief! [:)]

No one ever did. I think it was an image thing. G.M. by himself was just some guy. But a group called "WHAM!" with an exclamation point, big letters on their shirts, micro-shorts, fingerless gloves, and eye liner was more marketable. Once they were famous though, G.M. could drop the comic relief.
