The thing that has been most surprising to me since i found this forum is the relative lack of esteem for Eurythmics. It seems like they rarely get mentioned in posts, they are mostly nowhere to be found on the Hub (a few exceptions), and they are largely absent from lists like this. That very much surprises me, as when I think new wave, i automatically think Eurythmics first 3 albums: In the Garden, Sweet Dreams (are made of this), and Touch.

LOL. That is also the irony of a "top" list. It shines the light on the music most can agree on as opposed to what could be the most influential (or abrasive). Regardless, a few of us enjoy a few Genesis P. Orridge compositions every once in a while (interesting that vintage IBM mainframes made good music). Come to think of it, I left off The Residents' [i]Eskimo[/i] from my list.

While we are at it here's a comparison of the 22 lists of who's most eccentric and who's the most "well-rounded" of the poster's who put up their lists.

1. First I took only the top 50 albums of the list.
2. I then totalled up all the points given by the poster to those albums that made the list. (Your Rank points)
3. I then gave points to the overall albums based on the board's ranks (If you got Clash-London Calling on Your List you got 5 points no matter what rank you gave it. If you had #49. Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes you got 2 points (Board Rank Points)
4. I then took anyone who had an 80 album list and gave then a .625 multiplier handicap to give them even footing with those who had only 50 albums on their list. (50/80=.625)
