Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes.... Brilliant although sometimes badly paced. Truly fun and unique but with soul. Sexual teenage angst.

Omd - Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark ....plz note I saw some very lukewarm reviews as this album may not hold up well production-wise. I'm sure it was great when you were there.

Japan - Gentlemen Take Polaroids - Duran Duran's serious brother. A little bit of Bowie meets Roxy. Pretty decent.

Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks....This is the essential nihilist punk rock album in my opinion.

David Bowie - Scary Monsters [:I] Don't have it yet. Not much of a Bowie fan really. I'll be checking it out though.

Gang Of Four - Entertainment. While not singles oriented this is some pretty cool stuff. So much stuff NOW is influenced by what they did here.

Roxy Music - Avalon . I need to listen to this album. I know the singles but I've yet to get to second base with this yet.

thanks for putting all together. What an amazing representation of the genre! I am not surprised by most of the stuff in those lists.

I thought the comment made above by the lack of the Eurhythmics's material was interesting....they were right; Eurhythmics are never talked about here. I admit they're not in my lists either; yet, "Sweet Dreams", "Who's That Girl", & "Here comes the Rain", are pretty iconic NW songs. Hmm.

Agreed about the Eurythmics. Its weird in that I dont really like them and yet i think I they should a garner a little more respect still. They did terrible on the NWO song list too, even Sweet Dreams....

May I suggest the newly remastered deluxe edition of The Lexicon Of Love? It sounds tremendous and has lots of extra stuff on it.

Two Wheels Good has been in personal top 5 since it came out. All of Prefab's stuff is great, but this is their masterpiece. It seems to be a critic's fav as well.
