UK billboard 100

Postby jumpshift » Tue Jul 05, 2005 1:22 pm

Has anyone ever heard of a site called the top 100 song database. It shows every song from the 1950's to today that entered the billboard weekly top 100 in the U.S. year by year. Well does anyone know where i can find a site or a book that shows every song from 1950's to today that entered the billboard weekly top 100 in the UK. My main interest are songs from 1980-1992.

The UK charts only go up to a top 75. The Billboard Charts go to a Top 100. If you want a list of every Billboard Hot 100 hit of the 80's, you can go here http://home.austin.rr.com/skwerly/hot100-80s.txt

Only 75. I didn't know that. Well are there any sites that show what songs were in the UK top 75, and not just the top 40.

All I know of is top 40 sites, but there is a site that has US and UK chartographies for many bands each in their own section. It has some UK top 75 chart positions for many artists http://republika.pl/uktop40/

There are several reference books available, the best being:

Complete UK Hit Singles 1952-2005

British and American Hit Singles: 51 Years of Transatlantic Hits 1946-1997

The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles: Every Single Hit Since 1952
