All About Eve

Postby wozgo » Tue Jul 05, 2005 3:22 pm

All About Eve - a fantastic band that I know nothing about. I don't own any albums, just a few select and AMAZING singles like:

Calling Your Name
Don't Follow Me (March Hare)
Flowers In Our Hair
In The Clouds

So who wants to help me out with some info? Do you love them? Hate them? Have a funny or interesting anecdote? Ever seen them in concert? Got smashed and f'ed the drummer back in '82 before they made it big? I want to hear from you!

I was hoping someone would respond 'cause I know nothing about 'em as well except March Hare, a cool song. But are you sure this threads sucks or blows? It's so hard to tell sometimes. [:D]

Right then, since they're from my neck of the woods:

Their biggest hit was Martha's Harbour and the album to get is the self-titled All About Eve.

Google for information concerning their legendary Top of the Pops performance. [:D]

I do like AAE - I've got all the albums, singles, demos, etc. - BUT, I really dig Julianne Regan's post-AAE band Mice (with The Church's Marty Wilson-Piper). 'Mat's Prozac' has to be one of the catchiest pop-songs ever!
