You wanna lose your mind trying to decipherr lyrics? Try Cocteau Twins on for size. Beautiful music, I like the Twins alot but I don't even attempt to understand the words never mind the lyrics anymore. To me the vox are just another instrument making up the sonic landscape of their discs.

I always thought they were exactly that. I assumed it was made-up words and sounds.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I know they must mean something, if only to Liz. And I did read an article where one of the band members said that at least some of the lyrics do mean something, if only to her. I really love the lyrics as they are and would'nt have them any other way. CT lyrics are a major part of their DNA, what makes them so unique. Now I never actually read into these lyrics or tried to imagine that I possibly could know what they were about. I'd be very skeptical of anyone who claimed to know Liz's "code".
