I can't believe that stripper girl is still there. Every move looks like it was tested out on the pole first. I think her name is Jennifer?

Is it me or are most of the performers over 30? I'm happy they aren't the usual 20 year olds & divas.

I suppose I could check the website...[:)]

Jessica. She is also from my neck of the woods - Chicago. She needs to go in a big way. I am guessing that they are keeping her on for ratings.
She is horrible and she sings the INXS songs horrible too. As Marvymarv put it so well in another post
"Get rid of her ....[xx(]"
My favorites in order are
1.)MiG
2.)J.D (I like his ATTITUDE)
3.)Marty
4.)Jordis
5.)Suzie
and yes they are all over 30 except Jordis she is a spring chicken at the age of 23 (I think).
Ah crap .... I admit it. i've been hooked on this thing from the beginning. So far I don't miss any of the people who have been eliminated with the exception of Brandon, who I thought was improving and could have eventually adapted to a more appropriste style that would have fit the band. As for the remaining contestants: Ty has a great voice but I don't think he'll win it. I love Jordis but I really can't see INXS going with a female singer. I wouldn't mind seeing her win, but I doubt it would ever happen. The other remaining female contestants don't stand a chance. I dislike Marty intensely and thought last week was his first decent performance. JD's a total asshole but ....depending on which direction the band wants to take, I can see him winning. I think if they want to try to hop on this "next wave" bandwagon, he's their guy. I think it would be a huge mistake, but if the guys were known for exercising good judgement we wouldn't have this show in the first place. I think that covers everyone? That leaves my pick to take it all - Mig. GOOOOOOOOO Mig!!!!

Oh yeah - and how about that skirt Brooke Burke wore last week? [:0]

MOTORS!!!!!!!! I am so shocked that you watch this show. (Why? I don't know why.) I just had to pick myself up when I fell out of my chair. I am so glad I am back!! I totally agree with you... (except for the Brooke Burke comment, but if I was male then I would agree with 100%) I am hoping that MiG wins it! I can't wait to see how he is going to sing Peter Framptons - Baby I love your way!

Marty, the blond guy from Chicago has to sing 'Hit me baby one more time'! TRAIN WRECK but I think he might be able to pull it off.
Always go with your first instinct.

I want him gone, and I want that filthy, slutty-looking chick who looks like Avril Lavigne gone. My ears! The bleeding!

Ty can stay -- even though he's not going to win, since our band INXS obviously decided who they wanted to front them before they even managed to scrounge up 14 other contestants to "compete" with him (take a guess). Hell, I think Ty's band, Dakota Moon's, single, "A Promise to Make," was a bigger hit than anything off INXS' pathetic last album.

There are only about 5 million people who watch the show every week. Very low ratings! The show is suppose to last until the first week of October. I hope they don't pull the plug on it!
The original order was 38 episodes spread across 13 weeks. The run has since been cut to 11 weeks (with 31 or 32 episodes), and the show will wrap up in late September. I'm sure booting the pointless rehearsal shows to VH1 helped amortize some of the lost revenue. Viewers were going out of their way to turn those off.

They can always cut the run even further if they get tired of make-goods, and do another double-filleting (and, oh, how I hope it's Marty and Jessica). CBS got burned on this so bad that I have no doubt in my mind it singlehandedly killed any chance of them ever giving another initial 38-episode order for a reality show.

What about MiG's performance? Absolutely mesmerizing!!!!!!! He is simply amazing. I think he is the better choice for the band. This was by far, hands down, his best performance! If I EVER get married, I want this song played at my reception!

I have to admit that I think Marty pulled it off. He took that pop tune and made it sound more rock. Since I have Chicago news, they often talk about Marty and his band mates, The Lovehammers.

Surprisingly, Jessica is also from Chicago but not really newsworthy. They hardly ever mention her.

I loved Jordis' performance also. It was good but not has well as The man who sold the world.

I also liked J.D's performance. I like this guy. He has such an edge to him. I listen and watch the past performances on MSN.com. I think he sang this song great!
As far as the others they did not pull it off. Especially Deanna.
I think the bottom two will be Jessica and Deanna. I hope they both go home tonight. They are just not right for the band Inxs!

I predict that the two last standing are Jordis and MiG. The winner of course being MiG. I think after the show we will be hearing a lot from these two.
Can you tell I love the show?

The singers that don't get chosen for INXS should capitalize on their fame as quickly as possible -- it's great exposure for all of them - maybe a nationwide tour together with the House Band at the House of Blues clubs or other venues perhaps?

I really loved Marty's take on Britney - I wasn't crazy about his stage presence.

I can't remember what Susie did, but I remember thinking she was good this week. Ty - keep that tongue in your mouth - I loved the motown take on the song though.

Jordis as always was my favorite.

They have to be manipulating the vote in JD's favor. How is that tool still on? Because he's good drama and that makes for good TV and ratings (which this show needs). There's no way his half rate performance warranted his staying on. That, and all the 14 year old chicks think he's dreamy. [:(!]

While I don't think Jessica did great in her Tuesday performances, she always NAILED the INXS trax. It's a bummer they let her go cuz she's way better suited "for our band...(pause)...INXS" than Deanna.

OK, off to find a life now. LOL

Yes Jessica is gone and she will go back to Chicago and her rock group Cover Gurl. I thought it was so classy of MiG to share the stage with Jordis and Marty. Once again he sang Baby I love you way and it was still amazing. If this guy isn't the new lead singer of INXS then I give up. I think he is the only one who could really add something to the group. Jordis is another one of my favorites but I can't see her fronting this band. Oh well, I will have to wait until Sunday to find out what happens in the mansion. I need a life!

I'll give Jessica this - she handled being in the bottom 3 week after week & then being booted with a lot of class. I liked her softer look this week too - less like a stripper.

I like JD - I know he's an insufferable, pretentious prick - but I like his voice & look.

I think that no matter what happens with this show, I have a feeling that we will be seeing s lot of J.D. He is hard with an edge. I think he has the rock star quality!

Wow Jordis really was terrible this week.

Marty really pisses me off - he's way too intense. Good God Marty, not every song demands that you look outraged & psychotic. I'm also tired of looking at Mig.

Maybe I'm just being extra pissy tonight! [:D]

I liked JD again...

It's looking like a showdown between Mig, Marty and JD. Ty is really great, but he should just hook up with the house band and go on the road.

This is my first post and I know it will probably rub a lot of you the wrong way, but here goes:

I think it's pathetic that a band that put out some very good material (mostly during the 80's as everything after "Welcome to Wherever You Are" was uninspiring) has stooped to participating in a reality show to find a replacement for MH. You don't replace a personality like that, but if your're that determined, you don't do it by this means. I just hope they're only doing this b/c somehow someone mismanaged their money and the guys have no other choice. I would hate to think they're actually serious about this. It reeks of desparation to be "cool" again. Their time has come and gone. Don't get me wrong, I respect their past, but this is embarrassing. I watched about 10 minutes of it last night @ the beginning which showed clips of contestants' perfomances & they were beyond lame. Why not just invite Clay Aiken to join the competition while they're at it? It's bad enough that there's another mind-numbing reality show around, but does it have to include a band that I was a fan of at one time? [V]

Welcome vco and I for one concur with your assessment of this embarassing display of shameless self promotion.
It is soo obviously contrived to see the Dave Navarro, The Farriss brothers- (Andrew, Tim, Jon) , Kirk Pengilly and Garry Beers all obviously out of their element, try to their version of Paula Abdul judging, making these giddy, wishy washy appraisals of mostly sub par performances. Blech...
