Vote For Least Favorite!! The New Poll

Postby ghosty » Mon Jul 18, 2005 9:16 am

THIS WAS A PARODY! Celine Dion barely edged out Joy Division with four votes. It was close. NWO members like "Love Will Tear Us Apart" slightly more than "My Heart Will Go On"...but only slightly. The Cover Girls and Expose were deemed more credible and worthwhile than Ian Curtis and crew.

And now....the new poll:

On behalf of all Canadians, thank you, thank you, thank you for taking this twit (Celine) off our hands!

So far Celine Dion and Ian Curtis are on the fast track to oblivion. Hmmm...NWO members have love for The Cover Girls and Expose?

I voted for Richard Marx. I don't know a single song by The Cover Girls or Expose.

At least Expose were easy on the eyes and for what they did (freestyle pop), they were good at it.

It's a sick, disgusting joke by people with no semblance of decency whatsoever, much less any common sense about the boundaries between humor and deadly serious insult.

I love the SNL parody of Celine: I am the best singer in the world!

They should make a part two of the south park episode mecha-streisand. How about mecha-streisand with her new partner mecha-dion.

Blir, Read the first message: THIS IS A PARODY!
Are you kidding I LOVE Joy Division! The poll is a parody on the way seminal and iconic bands like JD seem to always get the shaft in favor of much lesser talents and one hit wonders when we have these polls. It boggles the mind that such things happen so I thought I'd spoof it. I expected you to be the first one to pick up on that!

The fact that Joy Division got voted off in the other poll should'nt cause you THAT much agita though. These things are utterly meaningless anyway. I mean, I don't think Joy Division's crediblity is diminished because of some poll online. Geez Louise!

Oh dammit, do I have to drop my own parodoxical face and admit that my feigned offense is also a parody?!!! [}:)]

Well, it is to your parody but NOT to the selections!
