For those who want to share or chat here is another hub we could use, the Ip address is:

theukhub.no-ip.org

This hub works for macs also and is not very crowded.

Just thought I'd check again. This is just another hub that we could use until the Wave is up and running.

This hub finally started looking like the nwo hub tonight. The funny thing is, when I signed in tonight it immediately started completing unfinished downloads from people who were in here from the old hub!

All I got were timeouts wtih theukhub.no-ip.org.

In fact, trying to search for '80s' in hub names results in bupkis. One had a hit, but it required you to share a minimum of 10 gigs.

Another one I joined had an incredibly long list of rules to sift through(c'mon this is p2p, not a court of law or a Microsoft EULA), and didn't find anything. All I got was some guy downloading a music video from me at an incredibly slow rate.

I think DC++ has privatized itself too much to be as useful as SoulSeek or any other P2P platform. If you don't "know anybody", trying to get into any hub(complete with obfuscated names & descriptions) is impossible. They add on redirectors, and weird "bots" that make little to no sense. I don't want that. I want to transfer.

You might want to try again. I think it was having problems this morning. I was having trouble also getting in but now everything seems normal. It's all we have until our hub is back online.
