WHo DIgs INXS and Rock and ice cream?

Postby theclash32 » Wed Jul 27, 2005 6:17 am

Okay, i'm a huge fan of INXS, rock music, and ice cream.

i really wanted to see if anybody has been watching this new show called Rockstar INXS on cbs. it's AWSOME because INXS are auditioning for a new singer and they also have Dave Navarro to judge.

Dave Navarro is easily one of the best guitarists i've ever heard.

the show's like american idol, but for music fans, especially us 80's fans.

i'd recommend it to anyone. especially tonight's episode where people are gonna get kicked off! such drama.

i want JD to go.

anyone watch?

Well, I am also a big INXS fan and am pretty surprised to find someone who actually likes the show- I first thought it was a typical "boobus America" reality show, but I find myself actually caring about it after watching a few episodes- god rest Michael's soul :) yes, JD is a jerk and should be voted off- I think Ty and Mig are the best of the group, and one of them will win as the women cant sing, in my opinion, and nobody else comes close- we'll see tonight!

Aaaaaaahahahahahaha! That was a good one!LOL!

I watched the show. I guess I'm just into watching different singers sing. I really don't care about the inxs part of the show. The white gorl with the dreads is hot and has chops. I would go to see her sing.

I was all excited when I first heard of this show, and now that I've watched it a few times, I could care less. I'm not a big fan of Dave Navarro, and even though he is quite personable on the show, I still could care less. I do not believe that the crop of singers that they got is worth investing my time in, nor do I think that they're that talented a bunch (I'll have to say they can sing better than me, though).
I believe if INXS was very concerned about getting a lead singer, they would have found one already (it didn't take AC/DC long to find a replacement for Bon Scott); one who would be able to mix in with the band better than I see any of the hopeful "rockers" doing. I don't foresee the winner having much say in what goes on with the band, as it seems they've already written songs for the next project, and whether the winner will stay with the band after that project is anyone's guess.
